Job summary

Qualifications

• Solid production coding experience in Python/Go/Java/C++/Rust.
• Experience running production systems at scale with on-call ownership.
• Deep knowledge of SLI/SLO, telemetry, and observability.
• Ability to drive reliability and operability with AI-native tooling.

Responsibilities

• Engineer reliability into enterprise platforms with automation and self-healing tooling to reduce manual operations.
• Design declarative systems that continuously reconcile state to a trusted source of truth.
• Instrument and analyze telemetry and state data to drive detection and remediation.
• Define SLI/SLOs and implement SLO-based alerting and observability.
• Own end-to-end services with accountability for reliability, security, and cost.
• Lead incident response and blameless post-incident reviews during on-call rotations.
• Reduce toil through automation and smarter engineering.
• Leverage AI across the SDLC with secure coding and automated testing.
• Break down complex reliability problems for teams and AI agents.
• Raise engineering standards for reliability across teams.
• Incorporate security and risk judgments throughout development.
