Job summary

Airport Staff in Dublin North is seeking a Sea Freight Operations Executive to coordinate imports and exports from start to finish, ensuring compliance, accuracy and timely delivery.

You will work with CargoWise, manage shipments, communicate with clients and partners, and support invoicing while meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in sea freight (imports/exports).
• Strong working knowledge of CargoWise (or similar system).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Imports: Manage FCL and LCL shipments arriving into Ireland.
• Imports: Create and maintain shipment records in CargoWise.
• Imports: Coordinate documentation with internal customs brokerage team.
• Imports: Ensure timely customs clearance and manage duty/VAT processes.
• Imports: Handle billing coordination and resolve account queries.
• Imports/Exports: Maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Exports: Process customer bookings and validate rates/costs.
• Exports: Coordinate collection and transport of shipments.
• Exports: Create export shipments in CargoWise.
• Exports: Issue booking confirmations with ETD/ETA details.
• Exports: Prepare and issue shipping documentation (MBL/HBL).
• Exports: Send pre-alerts to international partners/agents.
• Exports: Support invoicing and resolve customer queries.

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sea Freight Operations Executive to join a busy Air & Ocean Freight team based in North Dublin. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and enjoys managing end-to-end sea freight operations while delivering excellent customer service.

You ’ ll play a key role in coordinating import and export shipments, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across all processes.

Key Responsibilities

Imports
