Job summary

Primtac Personnel LTD in Dublin is seeking an experienced Sea Freight Operations Executive to join a busy team. The role focuses on managing import and export shipments, coordinating with customs and customers, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years' Sea Freight experience, proficient with CargoWise, Excel and Word, and will work to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment in Dublin.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Sea Freight / Import & Export.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Customs Clearance experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage FCL/LCL import and export shipments.
• Create and update shipments on CargoWise.
• Coordinate customs documentation and liaise with the internal customs brokerage team.
• Check Bills of Lading, Incoterms, rates and costs.
• Arrange hauliers, collections and deliveries.
• Manage customs entries and ensure duty/VAT payments are received.
• Send booking confirmations and shipment updates to customers.
• Issue MBL/HBL and confirm shipment departures.
• Prepare and scan documents and send pre-alerts.
• Complete invoicing.
• Deal with customer and accounts queries by phone and email.
• Ensure shipments are managed accurately and within required deadlines.

Hours

Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm with a 1-hour unpaid break. Flexibility required depending on business needs.
