Job summary

Elite Talent Hub is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager for a long-term contract with a major account in Tralee, Co. Kerry.

This hands-on role manages hard and soft FM services for one school building, leads an on-site team of ten, oversees maintenance programmes and subcontractors, and acts as the main client contact.

Candidates with supervisory experience in construction backgrounds are welcome; strong leadership, safety focus and budget awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous facilities management experience in a supervisory capacity.
• Experience managing subcontractors and maintenance programmes.
• Strong people leadership and stakeholder management.
• Financial acumen with budgets and cost control.
• Excellent communication in a client-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site service delivery team of ~10 and manage subcontractors.
• Oversee PPM schedules and lifecycle replacement programmes.
• Scope and manage minor works projects with subcontractors.
• Manage permit-to-work and safe systems of work across services.
• Act as primary operational contact for client and stakeholders.
• Provide operational updates and performance reporting.
• Build strong relationships and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and lead safety initiatives.
• Monitor subcontractor safety performance and cost control.
• Track lifecycle expenditure and budgets; assist small works estimation.
• Interpret contractual requirements to ensure value and compliance.
• Maintain contract docs and performance reports.
• Coordinate site inductions, payroll, and lifecycle plans.
