Job summary

Sodexo Ireland is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead the on-site hard and soft services team at a PPP Schools contract in Tralee, Ireland. You will ensure safe, efficient service delivery, compliance with contractual requirements and excellent client satisfaction.

Qualifications

Salary: €60,000 - €65,000 per annum

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Are you an experienced Facilities Manager with strong leadership, technical FM and client management experience? Sodexo is looking for a proactive Facilities Manager to lead the on-site hard and soft services team across a PPP Schools contract, ensuring excellent service delivery, compliance and customer satisfaction.

The Role

You will take ownership of the day-to-day FM operation, working closely with clients, contractors and stakeholders to ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and manage the on-site hard and soft services team.
• Oversee PPM, reactive maintenance and lifecycle programmes.
• Manage contractors, minor works and small works programmes.
• Own the SSOW permitting process, Toolbox Talks, Safety Walks and Near Miss reporting.
• Monitor service delivery, contractual compliance and operational performance.
• Manage lifecycle expenditure and ensure spend remains within budget.
• Act as the key operational contact for on-site issues.
• Manage site inductions, records, reporting and materials ordering.
• Deliver projects on time, within budget and to specification.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, cost reduction and best practice.
• Build strong relationships with clients, visitors, contractors and internal teams.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

• Previous Facilities Management management or coordination experience.
• Experience managing hard and soft FM services.
• Strong people management and leadership skills.
• Experience in a client-facing FM environment.
• Understanding of PPM, lifecycle management and safe systems of work.
• Strong commercial and financial awareness.
• Ability to interpret and manage commercial contracts.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• A customer-focused approach with the ability to work at pace without compromising accuracy.
