Job summary

mthree, based in Dublin (Sandyford), is recruiting a skilled Scala/Java developer to own the end-to-end SDLC for key components within the core trading technology pipeline. You will work closely with front-office trading partners in a hybrid setup and contribute to a high-throughput trade processing stack.

The role combines real-time engineering, modernising build and release pipelines under Agile, and translating complex business logic into clean, testable architecture for the client’s trading

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of production Scala experience (or exceptional Java developers with proven functional programming fluency).
• Deep SQL programming capability and production RDBMS experience.
• Comprehensive SDLC, automated CI/CD build tools, robust unit testing frameworks, and Agile execution.
• Exposure to Big Data ecosystems (Apache Hadoop).
• Practical implementation of modern enterprise design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Drive Core Engine Performance: Engineer, deploy, and maintain high-resilience Scala components for real-time trade processing.
• Accelerate SDLC Delivery: Modernise build and release pipelines for end-to-end delivery under Agile.
• Translate Business Logic to Tech: Convert complex trading requirements into clean, testable architecture with front-office partners.
