Job summary

Radley James is partnering with a leading quantitative trading firm in Dublin to hire experienced Software Engineers with strong expertise in C++ or C#/.NET. You will join a collaborative technology team working with quantitative researchers, traders, and infrastructure engineers to build high‑performance systems that power automated trading strategies across global markets.

Qualifications

Commercial experience developing software in either C++ or C#/.NET.
Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including system design, debugging, and problem solving.
Experience working with distributed, high-throughput, or business-critical systems.
Familiarity with modern development practices, including version control and CI/CD workflows.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust software applications using either C++ or C#/.NET.
Collaborate closely with traders, quantitative researchers, and fellow engineers to deliver innovative solutions.
Build scalable, resilient, and high-performance systems.
Take ownership throughout the full software development lifecycle, from design and implementation through to production support.
Analyse, troubleshoot, and optimise complex systems to improve reliability, performance, and efficiency.
Contribute to architectural decisions and the long‑term evolution of key technology platforms.
