Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on SAP BASIS experience in enterprise environments.
• Experience supporting both SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
• Proven SAP monitoring, backups, restores and system copies expertise.
• Strong SAP technical architecture and administration background.
• Experience handling high-priority incidents and outages in live environments.
• Ability to work independently with minimal handover.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level SAP BASIS support across production and non-production environments.
• Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and proactive issue identification.
• Manage and maintain SAP system backups, restores, and disaster recovery processes.
• Lead and execute system copies, refreshes, and client administration activities.
• Respond to and remediate priority incidents, outages, and critical system failures within agreed SLAs.
• Ensure SAP system security configuration and compliance with internal policies and best practices.
• Support ongoing stability and reliability of enterprise SAP landscapes.
• Collaborate closely with internal SAP technical teams and stakeholders.
• Provide expert-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex technical issues.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, performance, and resilience of SAP environments, with a strong focus on operational support, system administration and incident response.

Requirements

• Strong background in SAP technical architecture and administration
• Experience handling high-priority incidents and system outages in live environments
• Ability to work independently and “hit the ground running” with minimal handover

Candidates should hold appropriate RTWs for Ireland i.e. Stamp1G Spousal, Stamp 4, Irish/British/EU passport.
