Job summary

Wills Consultants is seeking an SAP Systems Engineer for our fast-paced warehouse environment in Ireland. You will drive performance through real-time system monitoring and process optimisation.

The role focuses on managing orders, coordinating pick and dispatch, and implementing improvements across SAP S/4HANA, SAP EWM, and WMS platforms. A strong background in FMCG, manufacturing, or pharmaceutical sectors is required.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years’ experience in process engineering or warehouse systems.
• Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or pharmaceutical sectors.
• Extensive experience in SAP S/4HANA, SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management), WMS (Warehouse Management System).

Responsibilities

• Manage order release into the warehouse pick environment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Wave Management and replenishment processes.
• Coordinate pick sequencing and outbound dispatch.
• Handle emergency orders and route progress queries.
• Produce ad hoc reports and elevate issues as needed.
• Oversee planning of warehouse orders to meet departure times.
• Document shift performance through hourly and daily reports.
• Coordinate customer requests, cancellations, and order modifications.
• Plan for scheduled downtime and assess operational impact.
• Liaise with internal and external vendors to resolve issues.
• Identify and implement operational improvements.
