Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking a Data & Analytics Lead for a leading organisation undergoing a major digital transformation, shaping data, analytics and reporting as core processes move to SAP S/4HANA.

The role leads the analytics workstream, defines reporting and data strategy, and ensures the new SAP platform delivers trusted, decision-ready insights across functions including commercial, operations, supply chain, quality and finance.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of analytics, BI or reporting leadership experience.
• Hands-on SAP data and reporting experience, ideally with S/4HANA.
• Proficient with BI tools SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong SQL skills; exposure to Python and/or R.
• Experience with data governance, data quality and enterprise reporting.
• Excellent communication to influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the analytics workstream for the SAP S/4HANA transformation.
• Define reporting requirements, KPIs and enterprise analytics solutions.
• Support data migration activities including mapping, cleansing and validation.
• Establish data governance, quality and reporting standards.
• Develop analytics solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BW/4HANA, Datasphere and Power BI.
• Translate complex data into actionable business insights.
• Build and mentor an analytics team while partnering with senior stakeholders.

I am currently recruiting for a Data & Analytics Lead on behalf of a leading organisation undergoing a major digital transformation.

This is a key leadership role responsible for shaping the organisation’s data, analytics and reporting capability as they transition core business processes onto SAP S/4HANA.

The successful candidate will lead the analytics workstream, define reporting and data strategy, and ensure the new SAP platform delivers trusted, decision-ready insights across the business.

The Opportunity

This role offers the chance to take ownership of enterprise analytics within a complex, regulated environment. You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams and the SAP programme to establish strong data foundations, improve reporting capability and embed a data-driven culture across functions including commercial, operations, supply chain, quality and finance.

About You

I am looking to speak with experienced data and analytics professionals with:

• 5-8+ years’ experience in analytics, BI or reporting leadership.
• Hands-on SAP data and reporting experience, ideally within an S/4HANA transformation.
• Strong experience with BI tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong SQL skills with exposure to Python and/or R.
• Experience with data governance, data quality and enterprise reporting.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Experience within pharmaceutical, life sciences or another regulated environment would be highly advantageous.
