Job summary

Mowi Ireland is seeking a Seawater Operative for our salmon farm on Deenish Island off the Darrynane coast, south Kerry. The role is based at the Deenish site and reports to the site Manager.

Responsibilities include feeding stock, grading, transfers and weighing, net changes, and maintenance of nets and cages. Candidates should have marine experience, good English communication, and basic IT/computer skills; boat handling is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Experience in a marine environment.
• Good communication skills (English).
• Boat handling experience is an advantage.
• Experience with computers would be an advantage.
• IT literacy, an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Feed stock at the site.
• Grade, transfer, and weigh stock.
• Monitor net changes.
• Maintain nets and cages.
