Job summary

Morgans Fine Fish in Omeath, Co. Louth, is seeking a part-time shop lead for our Factory Fish Shop. You will ensure counters are well displayed, fully stocked, and priced correctly, with strict safety and hygiene practices.

Experience in retail management (fresh food) is preferred; training will be provided for fish knowledge, filleting, and customer guidance. Pay starts at €15 per hour, with on-site parking and in-person work.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in retail management (fresh food, butchery, seafood, or deli environments are a plus).
• Knowledge of fish types, filleting, and seafood preparation is highly preferred (training available).
• Champion for cleanliness, food safety, and organized displays.

WE'RE HIRING!

We are looking for a PART TIME person to look after our Factory Fish Shop in Omeath, Co. Louth 3 DAYS A WEEK from THURSDAY TO SATURDAY.

THE ROLE

Ensure fish counters are beautifully displayed, fully stocked, and priced correctly.

Stock rotation and ensure our ultra-fresh seafood meets strict quality standards.

Deliver friendly, knowledgeable service and help customers with cooking tips or custom cuts – training will be given.

Manage daily opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and strict food safety/hygiene standards.

YOU'LL NEED

Experience: 2+ years in retail management (experience in fresh food, butchery, seafood, or deli environments is a massive plus).

Knowledge of fish types, filleting, and seafood preparation is highly preferred (but we will train the right leader with a passion for food).

A champion for cleanliness, food safety, and organized displays.

Excellent communication skills—you know how to handle a rush with grace and a smile.
