Job summary

We offer a salary of €37,000–€43,000 plus shared accommodation. Suitable candidates will have aquaculture experience and be comfortable working outdoors in a practical farming environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification relevant to aquaculture.
• Legal right to work in the UK or valid visa.
• Previous aquaculture or fish farming experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily fish husbandry, stock management, feeding and monitoring duties.
• Monitor fish health, behaviour, welfare and feed performance.
• Grade, handle, move and harvest fish as required.
• Monitor water quality, oxygen levels and other key production parameters.
• Maintain accurate production and stock records.
• Clean and maintain tanks, raceways, equipment and working areas.
• Carry out routine maintenance of pumps, pipework and other farm equipment.
• Follow biosecurity, fish welfare and health & safety procedures.
• Identify and report any fish health, water quality or equipment concerns.
• Support the wider team with general farm duties as required.
