Job summary

Rhenus Group Ireland Overland is seeking a Head of Sales to lead the Commercial Division and drive strategic growth across Ireland. You will work with the Ireland Senior management team and align with the European Overland sales network to deliver revenue, margin and customer value.

In this role you will develop and execute the commercial strategy, manage opportunities, monitor performance, and guide tender activity to maximize profitability and market share.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Commercial Division of the Irish Overland business.
• Collaborate with the Ireland Senior management team.
• Collaborate with the European Overland sales organization.
• Develop and execute the commercial strategy with clear communication to all stakeholders.
• Maximise opportunities for growth and profitability through revenue, GP and product development.
• Execute the business plan to drive revenue, gross margin and profitability.
• Work with branch and operational managers to ensure onboarding and ongoing customer service in Ireland.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities with new customers and markets.
• Upsell and expand relationships with existing customers.
• Keep stakeholders informed of customer performance and risks with regular reviews of sales activity and targets.
• Ensure new business activities and commercial projects are implemented and managed effectively.
• Participate in tender activities and provide associated contractual advice.
• Support and guide the business on all commercial issues and strategies.
• Motivate and measure the commercial division to deliver in line with the development plan.
• Take on additional tasks to identify opportunities for growth.
