Job summary

Global Medical Manufacturer – Laboratory Equipment & Consumables is seeking a graduate to join its Irish sales team covering the southern region. The role blends scientific knowledge with hands-on sales to universities, R&D facilities and pharma manufacturers.

You don’t need prior sales experience; training is provided. The ideal candidate holds a science degree and is keen to develop in a commercial environment within Limerick/Cork territory.

Qualifications

• Degree in a scientific discipline (Biotechnology, Biomedical Science, Chemistry, Physics or similar).
• Exposure to laboratory environments (academic or industry) is desirable.
• Strong communication skills and confidence when speaking with people.

Responsibilities

• Sell a wide range of laboratory consumables and solutions to universities, R&D facilities and pharma manufacturers.
• Interact with lab managers, technicians and procurement teams.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across the territory.
• Learn and perform structured onboarding with product training and mentorship.
• Build a long-term career in sales with strong training and support.

€30M+ Irish turnover | Expanding Irish sales team

Location: Limerick / Cork (or surrounding areas)

THE COMPANY:

Our client is a globally recognised medical and laboratory manufacturer, with a strong footprint in Ireland and annual turnover exceeding €30 million locally. Their products are used daily across universities, research labs, and pharmaceutical manufacturing sites, supporting cutting-edge scientific work across the country.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking to add a graduate-level sales professional to their Irish team, covering the southern region.

THE ROLE:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a science graduate to break into a commercial career, combining your technical knowledge with hands‑on sales experience.

You will be responsible for selling a wide range of laboratory consumables and solutions into universities, R&D facilities and pharma manufacturers, dealing with lab managers, technicians and procurement teams.

You will inherit a base of existing customers while also learning how to identify and develop new business opportunities across your territory.

What really stands out in this role is the training and support on offer — you’ll join an experienced Irish team and receive structured onboarding, product training and ongoing mentorship to help you build confidence and succeed in a sales environment.

THE PERSON:

THE PACKAGE:

• Base Salary: €35,000 – €45,000 DOE

Ideally Limerick or Cork based, or within a commutable distance to the territory.
