Job summary

KONE, a global leader in the lift and escalator industry, is seeking a Sales Director to lead our Ireland sales team from Dublin. You’ll implement the regional sales strategy, grow the customer base and deliver exceptional value to clients.

You’ll inspire high‑performing teams, build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, and use market insight to identify opportunities that sustain long‑term growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading successful sales teams within a commercial or technical environment.
• Strong track record of delivering business growth and achieving sales targets.
• Experience developing sales strategies, forecasting and managing performance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Collaborative leadership style with the ability to inspire, coach and develop others.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the sales strategy to drive profitable growth, increase market share and strengthen KONE's leading market position across the region.
• Lead and inspire high-performing sales teams, setting clear objectives, developing capability and creating a culture focused on collaboration and results.
• Build and strengthen strategic customer relationships, working closely with key customers, influencers and decision-makers to identify new business opportunities.
• Drive commercial performance through effective pipeline management, forecasting, pricing strategies and sales performance analysis.
• Use market insight to shape business decisions, identifying emerging opportunities, monitoring competitor activity and ensuring the right solutions are offered to each customer segment.
• Champion operational excellence, embedding global sales processes, ensuring effective resource planning and continuously improving the customer experience.
