Job summary

MailChimp Dublin is seeking a proactive Sales Development Representative to qualify opportunities and drive engagement with prospective clients. You will source opportunities from inbound channels and handover sales-ready leads to Account Executives while building lasting relationships with stakeholders.

In this role you will consistently meet KPIs, engage via phone, email, and LinkedIn, and champion MailChimp’s value proposition.

Qualifications

• Fluent English and Spanish required or highly proficient.
• 1+ year in a B2B sales role preferred.
• Strong listening skills and ability to synthesize information.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Salesforce experience preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work to deadlines and be highly organized.

• Source opportunities from inbound lead sources
• Qualify and handover sales ready opportunities to Account Executives
• Create lasting and beneficial relationships with Mailchimp stakeholders
• Adherence to daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs
• Engage with prospective customers by phone, email & LinkedIn
• Achieve established sales goals and objectives
• Serve as a product and service advocate for the client, building interest and awareness of the client’s value proposition and assessing mutual fit
• Learn quickly and maintain current, comprehensive knowledge of clients’ products and services

Requirements

• Fluent English and Spanish speaker
• Strong desire for a career in sales
• 1+ years of experience in a B2B sales role preferred
• High confidence and ability to quickly build trust within the first call, with strong soft skills to drive impact on the spot
• Exceptional listening skills combined with the ability to synthesize information
• Good time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities
• High attention to details and follow-through
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Salesforce experience preferred but not essential
