Job summary

SuperValu Barna, Galway is recruiting for a full-time Sales Assistant. You will welcome customers with pride and care, answer queries, and help create a positive shopping experience through knowledge and enthusiasm, while keeping the store well presented.

You will merchandise shelves, handle queries efficiently, and support new initiatives to keep the store presented to a high standard. This permanent role starts from September; flexible hours and reliable commuting are essential.

Main purpose of the role:
Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction is the number one priority. Interact with each customer with great pride, passion and care and inspire shoppers through knowledge and expertise.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

• Ability to engage with and prioritise customer needs
  
• Strong attention to detail, organised and flexible
  
• Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  
• Previous customer service experience is an advantage.

About the locality: We are currently recruiting for Full Time Sales Assistants within our store. Candidates must be available for Full Time on a Permanent basis post september.THIS IS A FULL TIME PERMANENT ROLE, * May suit a candidate returning to the workplace full time or taking a gap year from an educational institution. **Due to the full-time nature of required working hours this position is not suitable for students

Must be available to work flexible hours, Candidate must be available to work on a full time basis from the date of employment & available for full time post September months.
