Senneca Holdings is seeking an experienced Sales Application Engineer in Dublin to design and execute client projects in collaboration with the sales team. The role involves supporting product implementation, preparing technical drawings, and assisting with design reviews for improved customer outcomes.

Travel to customer sites will be required to validate designs and perform site measures, contributing to sales support and project completion.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in drafting/design/engineering or equivalent work experience with certifications.
• Solid knowledge of drafting and design theory; working knowledge of SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD.
• Proficient in MS Office and related business software; familiarity with manufacturing processes and installation practices.

Overview

Position Summary

We are searching for an experienced Sales Application Engineer at our Dublin, IE facility.

Responsibilities

Design: Responsible for the design and execution (and to some extent project management) of client projects along with members of the sales team. Work to improve efficiency to reduce waste in design to improve customer outcomes and company profitability.

Teamwork: Collaborate with assigned members of the Sales Team for process improvement, sales support expectations, and project completion. Collaborates with Product Managers for successful implementation of new and existing products, including research and development, application, and product improvement.

Assist: Assist the sales team with back end duties such as technical/installation drawings, acceptable design/use review, technical/design support, and client conference with sales team members.

Travel: Travel to customer sites to validate designs, perform site measures, and support sales team as needed.

Requirements

Education

Bachelor's Degree in drafting/design/engineering and/or equivalent work experience in combination with certifications.

Experience

Experience working in "Fishbowl" tool a plus but not required.

Knowledge

Solid knowledge of drafting and design theory and practices, a working knowledge of Solidworks and/or AutoCAD, MS Office, and related business software. Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and installation/construction practices is preferred.

Skills

Ability to multitask, possess excellent time management skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate and create a cooperative work environment between peers and sales team.
