Job summary

Eliason Corporation in Dublin, Ireland, is seeking an experienced Sales Application Engineer to lead the design and execution of client projects alongside the sales team. You will create technical drawings, provide design reviews, support the sales effort, and work with product managers on new and existing offerings.

Travel to customer sites will be required to validate designs and perform site measures. The role combines engineering rigor with customer-facing responsibilities and opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in drafting/design/engineering or equivalent.
• Solid knowledge of drafting and design theory and practices.
• Experience with SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD.
• Strong MS Office skills and familiarity with related business software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate with sales team.

Overview

We are searching for an experienced Sales Application Engineer at our Dublin, IE facility.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the design and execution (and to some extent project management) of client projects along with members of the sales team.
• Assist the sales team with back end duties such as technical/installation drawings, acceptable design/use review, technical/design support, and client conference with sales team members.
• Collaborate with assigned members of the Sales Team for process improvement, sales support expectations, and project completion.
• Work to improve efficiency to reduce waste in design to improve customer outcomes and company profitability.
• Collaborates with Product Managers for successful implementation of new and existing products, including research and development, application, and product improvement.
• Travel to customer sites to validate designs, perform site measures, and support sales team as needed.

Requirements

• Solid knowledge of drafting and design theory and practices, a working knowledge of Solidworks and/or AutoCAD, MS Office, and related business software.
• Ability to multitask, possess excellent time management skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate and create a cooperative work environment between peers and sales team.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and installation/construction practices is preferred.
• Experience working in “Fishbowl” tool a plus but not required.
• Bachelor's Degree in drafting/design/engineering and/or equivalent work experience in combination with certifications.
