Job summary

Cool Cat & Tank Environmental Ltd is seeking a Safety Officer to oversee safety across multiple sites, ensuring RAMS accuracy and compliance with Irish legislation. The role emphasizes promoting a positive safety culture and maintaining documentation.

Ideal candidates will have 2–3 years in a construction/environmental safety role, a recognised H&S qualification (NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent), and a valid Irish driving licence. The position is full-time and based on-site in Ireland.

Qualifications

• RAMS preparation and safety documentation experience.
• 2–3 years’ experience in a similar safety role within construction or environmental services.
• In-depth knowledge of Irish health, safety and environmental legislation.
• Full, clean Irish driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and maintain RAMS for site activities.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits and safety walks.
• Identify hazards, assess risks and implement controls.
• Deliver safety inductions and toolbox talks.
• Lead investigations of accidents and near-misses with corrective actions.
• Maintain safety records and documentation.
• Support development and implementation of safety policies.
• Promote proactive health, safety and environmental culture.
