Activ8 Solar Energies are actively seeking Roofers or qualified Carpenters to join our Installations teams based out of Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan.

This is a full-time permanent position with a competitive salary, bonus, pension, healthcare and additional benefits. As a Solar PV Installer you will install solar PV systems on residential buildings and ground-mounted sites, and you will receive six weeks of industry-specific training to support your success and growth in a dynamic,

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as Roofer and/or qualified Carpenter.
• Experience in Cladding/Industrial glazing is a plus.
• Willing to travel nationwide and live within one hour of Carrickmacross.
• Full Clean Driver's Licence.
• Ability to work at heights with a harness and strong safety focus.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.

Responsibilities Include:

• Install Solar Panels on residential homes to the highest of standards.
• Ensuredeadlines are met for upcoming installations and projects.
• Engagewith our customers and provideinformation and advice on work being undertaken. Compare CRMs
• Work with the team to ensure projects are completed on time.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and materials used.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Roofer and/or a qualified Carpenter or have previous experience in Cladding/Industrial glazing.
• Previous experience working at heights with a the use of a harness.
• Previous solar experience is desirable
• Must live within one hour of Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan.
• Must be willing to do nationwide travel.
• Must have a full Clean Driver's Licence.
• The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. Browse Careers

• Excellent organisational and planning skills along with a positive attitude for dealing with customers.
