Clean Energy Solar Ltd is seeking an experienced PV Panel Installer and/or Roofer/Carpenter for full-time on-site work across Cork City & County. The role demands a strong work ethic, safety focus and quality workmanship, with 40 hours per week including travel time.

You will work on various roof types, install mounting brackets, DC cabling and solar panels, test performance, and ensure site safety. Training others is valued.

Qualifications

• Two years solar panel installation experience.
• Valid driving licence preferred.
• Ireland work authorisation required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule job activities.
• Load and unload materials from a van.
• Install mounting brackets and railing systems.
• Install DC cable and move/install solar panels.
• Test panels and document results for office.
• Maintain tidy and safe job sites.
• Ensure safety on site for staff and customers.
• Operate lifts, MEWP, tower or scaffolding as needed.
• Work at heights and use safety equipment.

Clean Energy Solar Ltd is looking for an Experienced, full-time, PV Panel Installer and/or Roofer/Carpenter with strong knowledge of rooftops and solar installations to join our expanding team. You will have the opportunity to work across various residential and commercial projects, mostly within Cork City & County. This is a practical, on-site role suited to someone with a great work ethic, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Role Specific Requirements:

You must be an experienced Solar Panel Installer, with at least two years experience, along with relevant certifications.

A Full Drivers License is preferred. (Manual gearbox)

Working hours are on average 40 per week. (including travelling time to customer sites!!!)

A practical approach, with experience of training others is essential.

You must be well presented at all times, a good communicator with customer and colleagues and time keeping is critical to the position.

Working as part of a team and helping in any aspect to get a job done.

Specifics of the role:

You will be working with Tile, Slate, Metal roofs of all kinds and will be completing ground mount arrays, from time to time.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Job Planning / Scheduling
• Loading and unloading materials into a van
• Installation of mounting bracket and railing systems
• Installation of DC cable
• Moving and the Installation of solar panels
• Testing panels, taking pictures and providing back to the office.
• Keeping sites clean and tidy during and after a job
• Ensuring safety on site for you, your colleagues and our customers at all times
• Operating lifts, MEWP and tower or scaffold building
• Working at Heights
• Experience with ropes, harnesses and other safety equipment
