Job summary

Amey is recruiting a Senior / Commercial Manager to join our Consulting Highways team on a permanent basis, focusing on the Republic of Ireland for national transport projects. The role combines internal commercial leadership with client-facing advisory across pre-tender to construction phases.

You will provide bidding assurance, governance and risk management, oversee CVR reporting and cost control, and work with internal and external delivery teams to secure value for Clients on major RO

Qualifications

• Hold a quantity surveying, commercial or related profession degree.
• Hold or be working towards professional qualification.
• Demonstrable experience in QS/Commercial roles within RoI.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial leadership, assurance and professional challenge across consulting highways and infrastructure projects in RoI.
• Act as a trusted commercial adviser to Clients across pre-contract, tender and construction phases.
• Support bidding activity, including review of commercial strategy, risk, and governance in line with authorities.
• Provide contractual guidance, compliance support and training to delivery teams and Clients.
• Develop and implement project-specific commercial strategies aligned with governance and delivery realities.
• Lead or support change management, including valuation and recovery of contractual positions on higher value matters.
• Oversee cost control, CVR reporting, budgeting and WiP management with finance teams.
