Job summary

Crowe Ireland is seeking a Risk Consultant to join our Risk Consulting practice in Dublin. You will deliver governance, internal audit and risk advisory engagements for government bodies, local authorities and not-for-profits, and supervise trainees during audits.

You will plan workloads, manage multiple assignments and liaise with client staff to gather data, perform analysis and draft high-quality reports with actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in Risk Consulting or Internal Audit in a professional practice.
• Experience with public-sector or not-for-profit organisations in Ireland or the UK is desirable.
• Strong understanding of internal audit, risk management methods and governance issues.
• Ability to deliver high-quality reports with clear recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to delivery of a broad range of risk-based audit assignments and other risk engagements as required.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff during audit assignments and participate in performance initiatives.
• Obtain robust information from client systems and through interviews to inform judgments on controls.
• Draft high-quality working papers and audit reports with practical recommendations and clear rationale.
