Job summary

AIB’s graduate programme in Risk offers a 23-month structured rotation across different teams and risk areas in Dublin. You’ll gain exposure to projects, develop technical and professional skills, and work with experienced colleagues who invest in your success.

The programme includes CFA/FRM/QFA qualification support, networking opportunities, and a strong focus on wellbeing and development. Applicants must be eligible to work in Ireland and have a 2.1 degree.

Qualifications

• Achieved or expected to achieve a minimum 2.1 Honours Degree (or equivalent for universities outside of Ireland) is a prerequisite for those joining the AIB graduate programme.
• Candidates must be fully authorised to work in Ireland or hold a valid work permit for the full duration of the 23-month contract (September 2027 – August 2029).

What You’ll Do

The following are examples of areas that previous graduates have completed their rotations in:

Business Stream: Compliance, Credit Risk, Enterprise Risk, Financial Risk, IRB Enterprise Programme, Operational Risk, Risk Assurance and Validation, and Technology & Transformation

Courses aligned to these areas: Business Studies, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, Management and related degree courses with a strong business and finance content.

Technical Stream: Credit Risk, Enterprise Risk, Financial Risk, Risk Assurance and Validation, Technology & Transformation and Risk Analytics

Courses aligned to these areas: Mathematics, Data Science/Analytics, Science, Computer Science, Physics, Quantitative Finance, Engineering and related degree courses with a strong mathematical content.
