Job summary

Colchester Global Investors Dublin office is seeking a Risk & Compliance Associate on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave, working closely with the Chief Risk Officer and Head of Compliance, Ireland. The role offers hands-on experience across board reporting, regulatory filings, monitoring and outsourcing oversight within a well-established asset manager.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' administration experience in Irish financial services, ideally within Risk, Compliance, Audit or Operations.
• Sharp attention to detail and a strong sense of accuracy.
• Confident communicator - written, verbal and listening skills all matter here.
• Comfortable with MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
• Able to work well as part of a team, but equally happy working autonomously.
• Well organised, with strong time management and prioritisation.
• Good analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Chief Risk Officer and Head of Compliance, Ireland with their managerial function duties under CP86 and Designated Person oversight responsibilities.
• Helping to prepare quarterly and ad-hoc Board reporting, plus wider Management Company reporting.
• Assisting with regulatory filings and Company Secretary-related duties.
• Contributing to; Compliance Monitoring reviews across Operations, Service Provider oversight (Outsourcing) and Business Continuity.
• Taking your turn in the surveillance rota for electronic communications (e-comms and Voice).
• Supporting the Operational Risk Event process and maintaining risk registers and documentation.
