Job summary

Colchester Global Investors Dublin office is seeking a Risk & Compliance Associate on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave, working closely with the Chief Risk Officer and Head of Compliance, Ireland. Qualifications

• At least 2 years' administration experience in Irish financial services, ideally within Risk, Compliance, Audit or Operations.
• Sharp attention to detail and a strong sense of accuracy.
• Confident communicator - written, verbal and listening skills all matter here.
• Comfortable with MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
• Able to work well as part of a team, but equally happy working autonomously.
• Well organised, with strong time management and prioritisation.
• Good analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Chief Risk Officer and Head of Compliance, Ireland with their managerial function duties under CP86 and Designated Person oversight responsibilities.
• Helping to prepare quarterly and ad-hoc Board reporting, plus wider Management Company reporting.
• Assisting with regulatory filings and Company Secretary-related duties.
• Contributing to; Compliance Monitoring reviews across Operations, Service Provider oversight (Outsourcing) and Business Continuity.
• Taking your turn in the surveillance rota for electronic communications (e-comms and Voice).
• Supporting the Operational Risk Event process and maintaining risk registers and documentation.

Colchester Global Investors Dublin office is currently looking for a Risk & Compliance Associate to join our Dublin team on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. This is a great opportunity to build hands-on regulatory, governance and risk experience within a well-established, institutional investment manager.

You will work closed with the Chief Risk Officer and Head of Compliance, Ireland, gaining exposure to the full breadth of a Management Company's risk and compliance function, from board reporting to compliance monitoring, surveillance and outsourcing oversight. This is a role for someone early in their financial services career who wants to develop real technical depth in an area that sits right at the heart of how an asset manager operates.
