GMC Utilities Group is seeking a Junior Project Manager to join our team in Ireland. The successful candidate will support project delivery across urban and rural environments, with a focus on urban works, and assist in commercial and planning activities under guidance.

As part of a collaborative team, you will build relationships with clients and stakeholders, coordinate design and drawings, and contribute to cost forecasts and value engineering opportunities.

Qualifications

• Full clean driver’s license is required.
• A relevant qualification (or working towards one).
• Exposure to UK or Irish Water Standards (Potable & Foul) with ability to develop this knowledge in the role.

Responsabilités

• Support the Project Manager in coordinating and delivering multiple projects across urban and rural environments, with focus on urban works.
• Assist in reviewing project performance through a commercial lens, providing input to cost forecasts and financial assessments.
• Assist the PM with management of planning, installation and coordination of large diameter branch connections coming through DCC.
• Support the preparation of cost-to-complete values, claims narratives and commercial reports under the guidance of the Project Manager.
• Contribute to building and maintaining strong working relationships with Clients, Client Representatives, third-party providers, and key stakeholders.
• Assist in the preparation, review, and coordination of drawings and technical details to support efficient design and value engineering opportunities.
• Support the Project Manager in coordinating team activities, contributing to a positive, efficient, and motivated working environment.
• Deputise for the Project Manager when required.
