GMC Utilities Group in Ireland is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support delivery of key water infrastructure projects. The role is permanent within the Operations Department, handling projects for Irish Water and other utility clients.

The successful candidate will plan, execute and deliver complex water-related civil engineering works, managing a team and liaising with clients and third parties to ensure value, quality and on-time completion.

Qualifications

• Full clean driver’s license required.
• Experience with UK or Irish Water Standards (Potable & Foul) essential.
• Confident, motivated and capable of working independently and in a team.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Approach with integrity and respect for confidentiality.

Responsabilités

• Be the primary point of contact and run multiple projects in urban and rural environments.
• View projects through a commercial lens.
• Manage sewer and water connections across greater Dublin and surrounding counties.
• Detail costs to complete values and claims narratives.
• Build relationships with clients, client representatives and other providers.
• Draw, construct, and review drawings with high detail for value engineering.
• Study design briefs and prepare design packs from concept to detailed designs.
• Draft and communicate regular status reports and guidance across the business.
• Lead an existing team with efficient, effective, and motivational leadership.
• Review construction practicalities in water and wastewater projects.
• Coordinate with staff, departments, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Develop team structures and introduce new hires and external supply chains.
• Manage SI works.
