Our Finance team is vital to our Company and is responsible for keeping the financial operations of the company running smoothly. We are currently in an exciting phase of transformation, embracing AI-driven workflows and automation. What will I be doing?

• Manage end-to-end billing across all customer lifecycle events (including new business, expansions, renewals, downgrades, and cancellations) ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, and reporting.
• Reconcile data across systems to maintain billing accuracy and data integrity.
• Own revenue reporting for new and expansion revenue, ensuring accurate reconciliation during reporting periods and analysis of overall trends and leading performance indicators.
• Analyses key metrics to uncover patterns, risks, and opportunities, providing data‑driven insights to Leadership to enhance revenue retention and improve forecast accuracy.
• Credit Control: proactively supports the credit control process to ensure timely collection of receivables and strong cash flow management.
• Monitors outstanding balances, follows up with customers on overdue accounts, and works with internal teams to resolve billing or payment issues.
• Implements and maintains processes to reduce aged debt, mitigate credit risk and provide cash forecasting.
• Provides regular reporting on collection performance, overdue accounts, and potential risks to Leadership.
• Process Optimisation: plays a pivotal role in the transition to our new billing process, maintaining high accuracy in legacy systems during the final 3-month countdown while actively participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and data validation ahead of system go live.
• Collaborates with the Business Intelligence team in the development, testing and roll out of metric dashboards.
• Audit existing billing workflows to identify pain points proactively suggesting and implementing automation‑ready improvements.
• Team Support & Operational Collaboration: supports the Revenue team in ensuring invoices are processed accurately and on time by coordinating with relevant stakeholders, while escalating issues as needed to maintain efficiency and compliance.
• Participates in project related activities, can map out workflows and make recommendations on possible solutions and process improvement.
• Collaborates with the team to assist in other operational activities as required.
• Works with cross‑functional teams (Sales, Customer Experience and Legal) to resolve billing issues.
• Develops a working knowledge of Company plans and services.

What skills do I need?

• Must have a minimum of two years’ experience working in a Finance department, preferably within Accounts Receivable or Credit Control.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, processing large volumes of data accurately.
• Strong problem‑solving and dispute resolution abilities to handle customer billing queries effectively.
• Strong analytical skills for revenue reporting and reconciliation.
• Experience with system improvements, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Working knowledge of accounting software, Salesforce and basic revenue recognition.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for engaging with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving.
