Job summary

Woodie’s in Sandyford is seeking an experienced retail leader to join as Assistant Manager. You will mentor the store team, drive exceptional customer service, communicate goals clearly, and spot local commercial opportunities to grow the business.

This is a full-time 39-hour week across 5 days with every second weekend and Bank holiday. Competitive salary based on experience, plus benefits including a pension, staff discount, paid parental leave, cycle to work and wellness schemes.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or operations.
• Exposure to people management in a customer-facing environment.
• Ability to mentor store colleagues and deliver exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Delivering extraordinary customer service and mentoring the store team.
• Effectively communicating business goals and objectives to colleagues.
• Identifying commercial opportunities in the local area.
• Managing cash and stock controls.
• Assisting with payroll and headcount budgets.
• Supporting recruitment of store colleagues when required.
• Authorising refunds and exchanges and monitoring performance.
