Job summary

Allcare Management Services is seeking an Assistant Retail Manager for Allcare Pharmacy in Roche's Greystones. You will lead the front-of-counter team, drive retail standards, and ensure excellent patient-focused service within a busy community pharmacy environment.

The role requires strong leadership, cash-handling discipline, and a passion for improving profitability while maintaining high customer care standards. You will report to the Pharmacy Manager and work closely with the business team.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales team to deliver best-in-class front-of-counter retail standards.
• Manage front-of-counter retail business and team to meet sales targets.
• Maintain pharmacy standards and ensure staff duties and performance expectations.
• Handle cash procedures, SOPs, and bank lodgements per policy.
• Ensure Department of Health schemes (DPS, LTI, GMS) are up to date and reconciled monthly.
• Execute product promotions and follow Allcare policies and SOPs.
• Ensure security of stock, keys, and staff/customers safety.
• Keep pharmacy clean, safe, and compliant with Health & Safety rules.
• Maintain confidentiality of business details and communications.
• Monitor public perception and advise on issues affecting pharmacy and retail.
• Adhere to budgets and look for rostering efficiencies to maximise profitability.
• Observe Health & Safety at Work Act and ensure staff compliance.
• Assist in rostering improvements and frontline operation efficiency.
• Other duties as required.
