Job summary

Avoca Malahide is seeking a Retail Assistant to deliver high standards of customer service, assist customers in person and by phone/email, operate the POS system, and maintain stock levels in line with Avoca brand standards.

Responsibilities

• A high standard of customer service is required for the role, including assisting customers in person, via phone and email.
• Point of Sales system – scanning items and taking payments, managing queues in a timely manner.
• Replenishing stock, ensuring the Retail offering is always in line with Avoca brand standards.
• Opening and closing duties as outlined by your line manager.
• Advising & serving customers.
• Promoting store cards or special offers.
• Meet pre-determined sales targets.
• Making sure the store remains tidy.
