Job summary

Donegal Golf Club is recruiting a Restaurant and Bar Assistant to handle front-line customer service in a busy club restaurant. The role splits between table service and bartending, requiring a proactive, clean, and customer-focused approach.

Donegal Golf Club is currently recruiting for the position of

Restaurant and Bar Assistant.

The primary function of the Restaurant / Bar Assistant is providing first contact customer interaction in the restaurant of a busy member’s golf club.

About the Role:

This role will be split between table service (food & drink) and bartending.

• Deliver top-quality service to customers and ensure all drinks and products are presented to the highest standards
• Operate the till and process payments
• Maintain the cleanliness of the bar & restaurant
• Change kegs and restock shelves
• Respond promptly and efficiently to customer requests and queries
• Able to work unsupervised in a busy environment
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate food and drink orders
• Closing duties – sound last orders, clear the bar & wash area, balance the tills, clean bar thoroughly, lock up

• Must be available during weekdays - Monday to Friday
• Previous experience is essential
• Available to work weekdays and weekends
• Attention to detail
• Always adhere to safety and hygiene standards
• Excellent communication skills to maintain good interdepartmental relations
