Job summary

Mater Private Cork invites applications for a Respiratory Physiologist (Basic Grade) on a fixed-term 6-month contract. This full-time role is based at Ireland's fastest growing private hospital, a JCI-accredited facility, committed to high-quality patient care.

The successful candidate will hold a Physiologist/Clinical Measurement degree or equivalent (IICMS or MPPM) with at least 1 year post-qualification experience in an acute setting, strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Physiologist/Clinical Measurement degree or equivalent recognised by IICMS.
• MPPM from DIT or equivalent confirmed by IICMS.
• Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience as Respiratory Technician.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and patient-focused approach.
• Strong organisational skills to manage high workload.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team and collaborate.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, confidentiality maintained.

Respiratory Physiologist Basic Grade for Mater Private Cork. 6 month temporary contract, full time hours Mater Private Cork is Irelands fastest growing private hospital. As part of our continuing expansion, we are currently inviting applications for the role of an experienced Respiratory Physiologist on a fixed term contract for 6 months.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a Physiologist/Clinical Measurement degree or equivalent recognised by the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement Science (IICMS) or possess the Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement (MPPM) from Dublin Institute of Technology or equivalent as confirmed by the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement Science (IICMS).
• 2.Have a minimum of 1 years post qualification experience as a Respiratory Technician in an acute setting
• 3.The successful candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills and an awareness/sensitivity towards patient needs
• 4.Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage a high volume workload and prioritise effectively
• 5.An ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and collaborate well internally and external to the organisation.
• 6.Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• 7.Ability to maintain confidentiality.
