Zusammenfassung

The Talbot Group is recruiting a Social Care Worker for our Disability Service: Children's Disability Residential Service. You will work 7 x 12 hour shifts over a 14 day period, supporting residents with daily plans, education goals and living skills while coordinating shift duties with the team.

Qualifikationen

• Qualification at Level 7 or above meeting CORU criteria.
• Knowledge of quality assurance practices and their application.
• Experience in residential, respite or day service with intellectual disability.
• Knowledge of person centred planning and HIQA standards.

Aufgaben

• Act as a key worker for named resident where appropriate.
• Provide support to residents with their daily plan.
• Support residents with their individual goals and education.
• Support residents with living skills such as cooking, cleaning, laundry and appointments.
• Social Care Worker is part of the on-floor duty team and may co-ordinate the shift and supervise other staff.
• Report to the person in charge and work with the MDT to deliver resident care.
