Job summary

NexVentur is seeking a Setting Out Engineer for a major residential development in Collooney, Co. Sligo. You will lead setting out and surveying for civil works, coordinating with Site Management to ensure accurate execution and programme compliance.

The role demands strong reading of drawings, attention to detail, and the ability to work on site with a proactive approach to safety and quality. A full driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Degree/Higher Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Previous experience as Setting Out Engineer / Site Engineer on civil works.
• Strong setting out and surveying experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out setting out and surveying for all civil and groundworks activities.
• Set out foundations, roads, footpaths, kerbing and other external works.
• Establish and maintain site control points and benchmarks.
• Interpret drawings and specifications and ensure accurate construction.
