Job summary

The Rehab Group is seeking a Relief Care Worker for Mountain View Accommodation Service in Killarney, Co Kerry. This fixed term contract of 6 months offers variable hours to provide personal care in a residential setting for individuals with intellectual disability and mental health needs.

The role requires QQI Level 5 in Health & Social Care, a full driving licence, and prior experience in residential care.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 in Health & Social Care.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Experience in a residential care setting.
• Experience supporting service users with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Promote a nurturing, teamwork-focused environment for service users.
• Deliver person-centered care aligned with service users' needs and wishes.
• Provide personal care and undertake manual handling with safety and risk assessments.
