Job summary

Global Professional Consultants are working with a leading residential development company in South Dublin and Wicklow to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor. The role focuses on commercial management from appraisal through to final account, reporting to the Managing Director, Investment Manager, Construction Team and Finance Team.

You will lead cost planning, budgeting, procurement and monthly commercial cycles on live projects, delivering cost savings and robust commercial controls while

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• 5+ years' Quantity Surveying experience in residential development.
• Strong cost planning, budgeting and commercial management skills.
• Experience preparing Bills of Quantities and cost plans.
• Experience in tender analysis and subcontractor procurement.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Development & Site Appraisal with commercial input.
• Cost planning, budgeting and cost management for residential projects.
• Procurement & subcontractor management from tender to appointment.
• Value engineering and commercial optimisation to stay within budgets.
• Monthly commercial management and reporting to senior management.
• Contract & commercial management including final accounts.
• Collaborative work with design, development, investment and finance teams.
