Job summary

Crosscare in Ireland is seeking a Project Worker to deliver 24-hour short term residential support for adults experiencing homelessness. The role aims to help residents move to secure long-term housing while ensuring linked supports.

This is a full-time, permanent position based at Cedar House with a 7-day rota, including evenings and weekends. The successful candidate will work within Crosscare's care planning and case management framework, reporting to the Deputy Project Leader.

Qualifications

• Option 1: ABA Degree in Applied Social Care, Addiction, Mental Health, Nursing, Psychology, or an NFQ Level 7 qualification.
• Option 2: A minimum of a Level 6 qualification in Social Care or Addiction under NFQ/QQI.
• At least 1 year of relevant employment with a similar client group.
• Internal candidates require at least 6 months of relevant employment.

Responsibilities

• To implement the case management system and engage in one-to-one work with a specific allocated case load, from referral stage to disengagement.
• To engage with and build professional trusting relationships with service users, treating them with dignity and respect.
• To carry out duties connected with the operation of a residential service including health issues, premise management, and referrals.
• To liaise with external and internal service providers and advocate where needed.
• To work as part of a team and follow Project Leader/Deputy directions for effective service delivery.
• To follow Crosscare policies and quality standards and manage administrative duties for smooth project operation.
• To observe Health and Safety policies and ensure building security day and night.
