Job summary

Crosscare, the social care agency of the Dublin Diocese, is seeking a Project Worker to provide 24-hour short-term residential support for adults experiencing homelessness at Cedar House, Dublin. The role involves case management, one-to-one work, and multi-agency collaboration to secure long-term housing and essential supports.

The position is full-time (38.5 hours/week) on a permanent contract, with a 7-day rotating schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• BA Degree in Applied Social Care, Addiction, Mental Health, Nursing, Psychology, or NFQ Level 7 equivalent.
• Or a Level 6 qualification in Social Care or Addiction under NFQ/QQI.

Responsibilities

• Implement the case management system and engage in one-to-one work with a specific allocated caseload from referral to disengagement.
• Engage with and build professional trusting relationships with service users, treating them with dignity and respect.
• Carry out duties connected with the operation of a residential service, resolving conflicts and managing health issues.
• Liaise with external service providers and internal services to coordinate support.
• Work effectively as part of a team and respond to reasonable requests to support residents.
• Adhere to Crosscare policies and standard operating procedures to ensure service quality.

Education
