Job summary

Stewarts Care Ltd is seeking a Care Staff member for Residents Services in Kilcloon, Co. Meath. This permanent part-time role is 15 hours per week and reports to the Director of Care, Residents Services.

Qualifications

• One year's experience in disability services is preferable.
• Knowledge of HIQA and Health Act 2007-2013.
• Flexible to work in all Resident Services areas.
• Compliant with confidentiality and GDPR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise residents in daily life with safety in mind.
• Support physical and emotional needs to deliver high-quality care.
• Assist in day-to-day running of sections to maintain professional standards.
• Observe and report on residents to nursing staff and other personnel as requested.
• Accompany residents to external clinics or hospitals and provide reports on return.
• Assist in nursing treatments as directed and in induction of new staff.
• Attend in-service training and fire/emergency training.
• Maintain hygiene and tidy area and manage medication administration.
