Job summary

Stewarts Care Ltd is recruiting a Care Staff member for Day Services, based in West and South Dublin, Kildare and Meath. You will train, support and encourage service users to participate in their work, activation, training and education programmes, delivering care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

The role requires person-centred planning, safeguarding knowledge, confidentiality and flexible duty coverage, including potential driving and escort duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum QQI Level 5 (Healthcare Support) or SKILL-VEC Level 5.
• One year’s experience working in the area of disability is preferable.
• Knowledge of New Directions Guidelines and Interim Standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering services to Day Services participants with safety in mind.
• Support service users in setting personal goals and developing plans.
• Act as key worker and maintain confidentiality in all dealings.
• Assist with driving and transporting service users as required.
• Maintain records and contribute to team meetings and KPIs.
