Job summary
AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Resident Engineer for an Active Travel scheme in Co. Meath. The role is site-focused, supervising construction activities and administering contracts under supervision of a Senior Resident Engineer.
A Level 8 Civil Engineering degree is required, with 4+ years in civil engineering and 2+ years on-site experience. Desirable candidates will be Chartered or working towards it, with AutoCAD and MS Office proficiency, good English communication, and a valid driving licence
Qualifications
- Level 8 Civil Engineering degree is required.
- Chartered Engineer or working towards this.
- Minimum 4 years' civil engineering experience including 2 years on-site supervision in Public Works contracts.
- Proficient with AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Experience in contract administration, valuations, and claims.
- Experience in supervising roadworks and infrastructure.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Valid driving licence and SafePass.
Responsibilities
- Site-based supervision and inspection of construction activities.
- Contract administration and liaison with stakeholders.
- Prepare reports and monitor contractor progress.
- Coordinate with Senior Resident Engineer.
