Job summary

The Talbot Group in Ireland is hiring a Person in Charge (PIC) for our Adult Residential Disability Service, Monday to Friday 9am–5pm. You will oversee service delivery, ensure HIQA compliance and lead a multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality person-centred care. This role requires a QQI Level 7 in Social Care (or equivalent) and several years of management experience, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Requires QQI Level 7 in Social Care or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of three years in a management or supervisory role in Health or Social Care.
• Strong leadership and communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall operation of the service to provide high standards of resident care.
• Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and implement Talbot Group policies.
• Report and respond to complaints per organisational procedures.
• Lead, mentor and supervise the staff team with regular appraisals and meetings.
• Coordinate appointments with the multi-disciplinary team and ensure care plans are up to date.
