Job summary

CPL, in partnership with our client, is seeking an experienced Person in Charge (PIC) to lead a residential service in Ireland. You will oversee operations, governance, and quality of care, ensuring HIQA compliance and guiding a dedicated healthcare team.

The role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and a passion for empowering individuals to live fulfilling, independent lives within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Nursing qualification and valid registration.
• Minimum 3 years' management experience in health or social care.
• Strong knowledge of HIQA regulations and safeguarding.
• Proven leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Experience managing residential service delivery.
• Full driving licence and access to own transport.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective leadership and management of the service.
• Ensure HIQA compliance and maintain policies.
• Promote person-centred care and support.
• Manage staffing, supervision, performance and development.
• Maintain health, safety and risk management standards.
• Oversee service budgets and resource allocation.
• Build relationships with residents, families and teams.
• Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives.
