Kilkenny River Court Hotel in Kilkenny, Ireland, invites an experienced Reservations Manager to lead the reservations team and manage day-to-day operations. You will drive bookings, ensure accuracy, and work with management to maximise revenue and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous reservations experience in a 4- or 5-star hotel.
• Supervisory or management experience desirable.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of the Reservations Department.
• Lead, support and develop the reservations team through coaching and training.
• Handle incoming calls and emails from guests, corporate clients, tour operators and travel agents promptly and professionally.
• Ensure reservations are recorded and confirmed accurately per procedures.
• Maintain high standards of telephone and email communication per brand SOPs.
• Work with the Group Revenue Manager to maximise revenue, occupancy and rate performance.
• Upsell hotel facilities to maximise guest spend.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Sales, Revenue and Operations teams.
