Renewals Account Manager — Grow ARR in Cybersecurity

Job summary

WatchGuard is seeking a Renewals Account Manager in Ireland to reduce churn and grow ARR across the full license portfolio. You will review ATR reports, renew or upgrade licenses, and collaborate with CAMs and partners to maximize renewal value and minimize churn.

The role emphasizes owning renewals, coordinating with distributors, and leveraging Salesforce and outreach tools to maintain a robust renewal pipeline and forecast.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Native/fluent French (preferred), Italian or Spanish and fluent English are required.
• Experience in sales, account management, or customer retention/renewals required.
• Experience in two-tier channel sales with distribution partners is preferred.
• Previous experience as a top-performing Business Development or Sales Development Representative in cybersecurity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual retention and ARR growth targets.
• Own each license on the quarterly Available to Renew (ATR) report through to resolution: renewed or replaced, with a goal of zero churn.
• Identify and execute sales activities that increase renewal value (adding users, extending term lengths, reducing discounts, upgrading SKUs).
• Coordinate renewal outreach with channel partners, distributors, and internal sales teams to avoid duplicate effort.
• Support incumbent channel partners in contacting end users ahead of expiration to secure renewal or replacement commitments.
• Maintain an accurate pipeline of renewal opportunities in Salesforce that matches the ATR report and keeps forecast data current.
• Use WatchGuard outreach platforms to call, email, and host meetings with partners and customers while meeting activity metrics.
• Be responsible for a quarterly renewal forecast, updated weekly and delivered to management.
• Identify and qualify new business and expansion opportunities that surface during renewal conversations and hand off to CAMs.
• Maintain separation from CAMs by focusing on renewal and expansion-at-renewal.
• Remain knowledgeable of WatchGuard's full product portfolio to identify replacement and upgrade paths for expiring licenses.
