Job summary

CPL Group is seeking a Field Service Engineer for the West/Southwest on a permanent, full-time basis. The role involves joining a team of engineers to provide technical support to renal dialysis equipment and hands-on installation and service on customer sites.

You will receive structured training including manufacturer-certification courses and work alongside experienced engineers in a global context, with travel across Ireland as required.

Qualifications

• Qualified in electronic / electrical / mechanical / biomedical engineering or similar.
• Approx 3 years experience in medical devices, field-based and customer facing.
• Strong computer and communication skills.
• Experience in renal technical services is desirable.
• Full clean driving license and legal status to work in Ireland.
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Engage in technical repair, preventative and corrective, of equipment at customer sites.
• Advise and lead on installation requirements for a renal dialysis unit.
• Undertake technical support training (including Germany) for products.
• Develop and maintain technical competency to work independently and confidently.
• Travel to customers throughout the 32 counties of Ireland.
• Work with team in spare parts stock and record keeping.
